Tulsa Artists’ Coalition

Join us May 25-27 for 3 performances:

 Face to Face to Face

Face to Face to Face

A spoken word performance art piece written and directed by Michael Wright.

Phone fixation, selfies, surveillance technology, face lifts–do we really see each other or ourselves any longer?  In the modern world is the face just for identification or does it still convey caring, love, hope–or are we becoming walking, blank-faced emojis?  The company: Pamela Anderson, Machele Miller Dill, Timothy Hunter, Xavier Sagel, Scott Taylor and James Terrell

Three Performances:

Friday and Saturday, May 25-26, 7 p.m.

Sunday, May 27, 2 p.m.

Free and open to the public

Seating is limited.  It is recommended that audience members arrive at least 15 minutes before show time.

The company: Pamela Anderson, Machele Miller Dill, Timothy Hunter, Xavier Sagel, Scott Taylor and James Terrell.

The 5×5 Show and Sale

Over 250 works, all 5″x5″

$55 each

5×5 purchases may be picked up:

Thurs – Friday May 17-18 6-9pm

Saturday, May 19 Noon-9pm

It is very important that buyers pick up during these hours, as the following weekend TAC is hosting three theater performances and it will not be possible to retrieve purchases during the performances or during the preceding week due to ongoing rehearsals and set construction.

After Saturday, the next opportunity to pick up works will be First Friday, June 1.

A couple of reminders:

  • Please bring your yellow receipt for faster service.
  • Please do not remove your purchases from the wall.  The volunteers will do this for you.
Artists who wish to retrieve unsold works may do so during this time.  If TAC supplied your canvas, we request a $10 donation to cover the cost of the canvas.

About TAC

The Tulsa Artists’ Coalition (TAC) is a volunteer-run, nonprofit organization of artists and art supporters, formed to encourage and support emerging and established contemporary artists, and to foster the development of new forms and multidisciplinary work in Tulsa and surrounding communities. TAC is supported through grants, art sales, and membership dues.

The TAC Gallery

Long ago, TAC decided that the best way to support artists was to provide them with a venue to display quality, contemporary art—especially work which may not otherwise have a home in a traditional commercial gallery. As a result, we created the TAC Gallery, which since 1996 has resided in its current location in the heart of downtown Tulsa’s Brady Arts District.

Each year, the TAC Gallery hosts approximately ten month-long shows by artists in a variety of media and 1-2 group shows.

TAC Membership

We consider memberships to be our most important means of support. As a member of TAC, you are an instrumental part of our mission and have the satisfaction of knowing that you are helping to support contemporary art and artists in Tulsa. To find out more about memberships, CLICK HERE.
