COVID-19 Update from TAC
We hope everyone is well and staying safe during these difficult times. The following is an update on TAC’s current plans related to the COVID-19 crisis:
TAC Gallery will continue to be closed until further notice. We are tentatively planning to reopen in July.
The Tulsa Arts District has cancelled the June Art Crawl, as most of the arts venues have cancelled their in-person events.
The 5×5 Show and Sale
We are heartened by the interest in our annual 5×5 fundraiser.
Our current plan, if the situation allows it, is to move the 5×5 show to the fall of 2020 (tentatively November 27-29).
The details of the event will be determined depending on how the situation evolves and the advice of health officials, but we know this year’s event will likely look different than past events as we strive to protect the safety of our volunteers, artists, and patrons through appropriate social distancing.
We know many artists have picked up 5×5 canvases and have been using this time of social distancing to create amazing new works and we can’t wait to see them. Artists may continue to pick up 5×5 canvases at Ziegler’s while supplies last. As always, artists are welcome to use their own 5×5″ surfaces.
Future updates will be posted on our website and social media, as new information is available.
Thank you for your continued support. We know all arts organizations are suffering in these times, but if you are able to support TAC by renewing a membership or making a general donation, you can do so on the membership or 5×5 pages on our website.
So many of our neighbors are impacted by this crisis and we hope you will continue to support them, however possible, as well.

The Tulsa Artists’ Coalition (TAC) is a volunteer-run, nonprofit organization of artists and art supporters, formed to encourage and support emerging and established contemporary artists, and to foster the development of new forms and multidisciplinary work in Tulsa and surrounding communities. TAC is supported through grants, art sales, and membership dues.
The TAC Gallery
Long ago, TAC decided that the best way to support artists was to provide them with a venue to display quality, contemporary art—especially work which may not otherwise have a home in a traditional commercial gallery. As a result, we created the TAC Gallery, which since 1996 has resided in its current location in the heart of downtown Tulsa’s Arts District.
Each year, the TAC Gallery hosts approximately eleven month-long shows by artists in a variety of media and 1-2 group shows.
We consider memberships to be our most important means of support. As a member of TAC, you are an instrumental part of our mission and have the satisfaction of knowing that you are helping to support contemporary art and artists in Tulsa. To find out more about memberships, CLICK HERE.
