The Tulsa Artists’ Coalition presents “Binary Figments” featuring the art of Timothy Varnell from August 7th through August 29th.

The public will have an opportunity to meet the artist at the opening reception from 6pm to 9pm on August 7th. This exhibit runs through Saturday, August 29th. The TAC Gallery is located at 9 East M. B. Brady, Tulsa. This event is free and open to the public and is part of the Brady Arts District’s Friday Art Crawl.

In his artist statement, Varnell says, “Binary Figments was a series I created to show appreciation of our age of technology and the infinite possibilities it gives us to do better for each and all.” He goes on to describe himself as “an American artist that resides and works in the Midwest. Inspired by all things beautiful, I decided to start creating inspiring images that convey a brighter more spiritual optic, from a small studio in my home. Using 3D computer constructs and software, I work to manipulate an image from its most basic forms into a finished piece of artwork giving mindful preference to the wonder and imagination of the abstract style.”

Gallery Hours:  6:00p.m. to 9:00p.m. Thursday, Friday & Saturday by appointment and for other times through email:  info@tacgallery.org.
