The Tulsa Artists’ Coalition presents: “Three Squared: Capturing a Moment,” recent works by Colleen Stiles, on display from January 8th through January 29th. The public is invited to meet the artist at the opening reception from 6pm to 9pm on January 8th, as part of the Brady Arts District’s Friday Art Crawl.

Colleen Stiles is a graphic designer and artist from Tulsa. Although best known for her figurative sculptures, Stiles has recently returned to her roots in two dimensional work and illustration.

Her 32 exhibition is built around a collection of over one hundred pen and ink drawings on 3″ x 3″ post-it notes. Hung together as an installation in acrylic floating frames, these “captured moments” create a powerful statement. And what of the larger works that are birthed from the inspiration of these tiny moments captured in 3 x 3? Supporting the post-it installation are larger two and three dimensional pieces.
