Cheryl Sasai Ellicott

I'm an artist, author, editor, songwriter, and inspirational speaker who lives in Northeast Oklahoma. I grew up in rural Alaska inspired by wild, breathtaking beauty. When I grew up, I spent many years living in the desert Southwest, and then in 2010 my family settled in Oklahoma. Many of my recent paintings are inspired by the richness of these two regions. Throughout my life I've painted, but art has often taken a back seat; I've spent many years focused on missions and book publishing. But in 2020 I returned to painting consistently. My style has matured, my abilities have increased, and it's a joy to have a paintbrush in my hand again.
